RESURRECTING THE SPIRIT OF JEREMIAH THE PROPHET IN CHRISTIANS.

Jeremiah's calling: 1:10 " See, I have this day set thee over the nations and over the kingdoms, to ROOT OUT and to PULL DOWN  and to DESTROY and to THROW DOWN, to BUILD and to PLANT." When the Lord showed him the porter, it was to explain that for something new and strong to be formed, it has to be broken, melted then moulded again. We cannot just break, root out and when all is ready we turn our backs and walk away or delay enough to give ample time for the enemy to sow in his thistles of envy and wickedness.
Most Christians are very good at rooting out, pulling down, destroying and throwing down but the fail at building up and planting.

In the book of Philippines 1:6, Paul said we should be confident of the fact that He which had begun a good work in us will perform it to perfection until Jesus returns. After all the good work of pulling down and rooting out strongholds and wickedness, we should immediately build and plant in the seeds of divinity which are the promises of God that will bare the fruits of the Holy Spirit for God's purpose in our lives to be in perfection until the return of Christ.
The prophet Elijah prayed for drought but he knew when to pray for rain at the appointed time 1king 18:41.
Jesus in Matt 26:61 and John 2:19 talked of destroying and building the temple which was His body. His body has to be broken for man of sin to be rooted and pulled down. He did not just die  buried and stayed in the grave. He rose again for God's purpose to come to perfection.
We bind and cast out evil spirits but we forget to loose and impact divinity to fill that emptiness.
As I was seeking God for  his promise in Isaiah 62:8-9 " The Lord has sworn by His right hand and by the arm of His strength. Surely I will no more give thy corn to be meat for thine enemies and the sons of the stranger shall not drink thy wine for the which thou has laboured. But they that have gathered it shall eat it and praise the Lord and they that have brought it together shall drink it in the courts of my holiness.", the Lord open my spiritual eyes and I saw that many do toil but do not plant or plant out of season when the enemy has already sowed in his wickedness.
Then I began asking questions to the Holy Spirit to be my god and staff and teach me the truth and reveal to me the hidden secrets.
Then again, I was brought to Samson in the book of Judges.
Samson's strength (anointing) was attached to his personality and identification (being a Nazarite unto God and the seven lock on his head).
Likewise our ability to do what God has called us to do depends on our position in Christ and our constancy in the word.
However what made Samson do what he did was driven by his emotions. In Judges 14:5-6 the Spirit of the Lord came upon him after a young lion roared on him. Then again when the wife wept before him and also when the Philistines shouted at him. Samson lost his personality through sinful marriages and his identity when he became involved with Delilah the harlot who enticed him and cut off the seven locks on his head. We all need and interpersonal relationship in the physical for us to be effective in our potentials. But the question is who is our divine partner?
King David in alliance with Jonathan and Ruth with Naomi are examples of divine partnership.
John the baptist said that the kingdom of God had to be taken in violence for from violence it does suffers. However this violence has two extremes and we have to be at the peak to achieve victory.
At one end is the peak of divine anger which spurs us to root out, pull down and destroy. At the other end is the peak of compassion and empathy which drives us to build, mould and plant new life. (At this point I will like to emphasise on the fact that only Christ could exercise true compassion and sympathy because he could actually feel what we feel. The scripture tells us that he took upon Himself ALL of our transgressions Isaiah 53: 4-10. Us as His servants can only exercise compassion through empathy).
When we are in interpersonal relationship with our right partner, it enables us to move from one extreme to the other in time because as the bibles says  iron sharpens iron and two can only walk together if they agree Amos 3:3.
Those we bond with, has a great impact on our ability to become victorious.
When Samson realised his mistake,  his emotion in violence destroy more than ever but he could not move in compassion any more to build or plant and he died.
Most Christians who have suffered from abuses find themselves in this state. They are always warring but not bring home the trophies. But like king David, they Lord will give you rest. Not that you will stop warring but you will be able to celebrate after every victory. Then the promise of God in Isaiah 62:8-9 shall be yours in Jesus name.
May all say "Let the Spirit of Jeremiah in me arise and God be glorified in Jesus name. Amen" . Your are destined to eat the fruits of your labour.
