RESURRECTING THE SPIRIT OF JEREMIAH THE PROPHET IN CHRISTIANS.

Jeremiah's calling: 1:10 " See, I have this day set thee over the nations and over the kingdoms, to ROOT OUT and to PULL DOWN  and to DESTROY and to THROW DOWN, to BUILD and to PLANT." When the Lord showed him the porter, it was to explain that for something new and strong to be formed, it has to be broken, melted then moulded again. We cannot just break, root out and when all is ready we turn our backs and walk away or delay enough to give ample time for the enemy to sow in his thistles of envy and wickedness.

 Most Christians are very good at rooting out, pulling down, destroying and throwing down but the fail at building up and planting.

In the book of Philippines 1:6, Paul said we should be confident of the fact that He which had begun a good work in us will perform it to perfection until Jesus returns. After all the good work of pulling down and rooting out strongholds and wickedness, we should immediately build and plant in the seeds of divinity which are the promises of God that will bare the fruits of the Holy Spirit for God's purpose in our lives to be in perfection until the return of Christ.

The prophet Elijah prayed for drought but he knew when to pray for rain at the appointed time 1king 18:41.

Jesus in Matt 26:61 and John 2:19 talked of destroying and building the temple which was His body. His body has to be broken for man of sin to be rooted and pulled down. He did not just die  buried and stayed in the grave. He rose again for God's purpose to come to perfection.

We bind and cast out evil spirits but we forget to loose and impact divinity to fill that emptiness.

As I was seeking God for  his promise in Isaiah 62:8-9 " The Lord has sworn by His right hand and by the arm of His strength. Surely I will no more give thy corn to be meat for thine enemies and the sons of the stranger shall not drink thy wine for the which thou has laboured. But they that have gathered it shall eat it and praise the Lord and they that have brought it together shall drink it in the courts of my holiness.", the Lord open my spiritual eyes and I saw that many do toil but do not plant or plant out of season when the enemy has already sowed in his wickedness.

Then I began asking questions to the Holy Spirit to be my god and staff and teach me the truth and reveal to me the hidden secrets.

Then again, I was brought to Samson in the book of Judges.

Samson's strength (anointing) was attached to his personality and identification (being a Nazarite unto God and the seven lock on his head). 

THE QUEST FOR DIVINE ENLIGHTENMENT

Every believer in the Lord Jesus after salvation experiences a transformation that affects their soul and mind mostly through dreams, their way of thinking, their emotions and senses and their body experience different kind of manifestation. This is not unusual.

The scripture teaches us that, “It is no longer us that lives, but the Christ that lives in us by His Spirit” (Gal 2:20).

Gal 5:17 also teaches us that there is a war between our soul, which at salvation is more inclined to the flesh consequently the world, and our inner man, the spirit of man which has receive eternal life and a supernatural divine power. This is no mystery but a very
simple natural phenomenon of unlike forces repelling one another. This is the process of purification (2Timothy 2:20-21) and sanctification. To accomplished this we most lean on the truth of God’s word  to renew our mind (Romans 12:2) by bringing all that is trying to exalt its self through carnality, unto the subjection of the spirit that now dwell in us (1Corin 9:27), so we serve not the flesh but God (16:13).

The scripture also warn us to do this with “trembling and fear” for it is the working out of our salvation, for divinity to flow out from us (Phil 2: 12-13) and most of all, not to “worry” or be “careful for nothing”, but to allow the peace of God to work through us (4:6-7).

To clarify the “trembling and fear”, it is NOT for us to become paranoiac, trying to be “careful for nothing”, but it is the “fear” of the Lord which is “wisdom” (Proverb 9:10, Ps 111:10, Act 17:11) which make us to rest in God’s peace. Jesus said in Matt 11:28, “Come unto me all ye that labour and are heavy laden and I will give you rest. Again this means to enter into His presence, through worship, prayers and waiting upon the Lord for you are already in Christ as a believer.  

Being as social worker, and knowing that all knowledge is of God, I tried to look at look at the conformity of the body soul and spirit to the word of God by using the Maslow’s hierarchy of needs triangle. However because the inner man must transcends through to the body, the flow has to be from the peak of the triangle downward

 The difference between secular counsellors and Christian counsellors is that the former works from the problem to the solution, while the later works from the solution to the problem. In our Christian walk, the body is the problem and the solution comes from the spirit or God that now is in our inner man.

Our redemption by grace is the reason we can work our salvation from the solution to the problem.

The world talks of “working out” as in physical activity to keep the body and soul in fitness, but us Christians “work out” our eternal life from Christ that now live in us.

There are different realms in the spirit: the heavens, the heavenlies (Eph 6:12 talks of weakedness in the heavenly places) and the earth. In Eph 2:2 satan is mentioned as being the prince of the air and in Jn 12:31 he is called the ruler of this world. The mind is in parallel dimension with the world (man was made from dust) so the prince of this world still has the utterance to control the thoughts of the mind even those in Christ. Paul cautions us to die daily. The renewing of our mind is a continue process not a one off thing.

 However in Lk 10:18, Jesus said he saw satan being cast out of the heavens. Then He continued to say that He has given us the power to tread on the serpent (satan) and scorpions (his devices and agents) and power over all the nations of this world (Rev 2:29). This goes to explain that we can no longer be under the bondage of satan so long as we “work out our salvation”. It is only then that we have the power to overcome satan because then we allow the Christ in us to work from within without the hindrance of the flesh.

Knowing the word alone is not enough to resist the devil but it is both knowing the word and standing in the word. Taking our position in Christ (Eph 6:14-17) ¹⁴ Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place, ¹⁵ and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace. ¹⁶ In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. ¹⁷ Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.

Only unbelievers can be controlled by the devil (2Tim 2:26, Eph 2:2) but also prayerless Christians can be manipulated by the devil. Jesus told us to watch and pray that we fall not into temptation (Matt 26:4).

The devil can manipulate us through dreams, however God also reveal Himself to us through dreams.

Every device that God uses and the devil tries to covert it through deception, wisdom, discernment, peace and love is a divine weapon that can turn what the devil intended for evil to become good.

GAMBLING MY TITHES AND OFFERING OR GIVING IN LOVE?

Do I gamble my offerings and tithes, give as an investment goal to become rich? Or do I give in thanks from the abundance of his love grace and mercy for the extension of his kingdom? That there may be food in house of God to nourish and nuture the needy. 1 Tim 6:9-11;9

People who want to get rich fall into temptation, traps and into many foolish and harmful desires that plunge them into ruin and destruction.
10 For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil. Some people, eager for money, have wandered from the faith and pierced themselves with many griefs.
11 But you, man of God, flee from all this, and pursue righteousness, godliness, faith, love, endurance and gentleness.

There is nothing wrong with wealth as this is a reward of a faithful servant, but the love of money is demonic. We can overcome this temptation by remembering to 'split' and 'submit'.

If and when you become aware that your desire towards material wealth is more than you intimacy with God.

When you feel miserable and lacking and all your prayers are towards that, 'flee, split' and then 'submit' to Jesus as a faithful servant.

Do not get into the trouble of having to make a deal or gamble your money. You might have just fallen face down to the demon of materialism 'marmmon'.

It took a 40 days fasting for Jesus to resist him so please stay far from him.

God loves a cheerful giver but honours the reason of your giving. Do not get entangled in the prosperity mesh it might be more difficult to get out than coming in. Many have been heart broken and families have been separated because of this . If you are in it, you can still get out. 1Corin 7:23 says you were bought at a price, do not become slaves

SCRIPTURAL
How much should we give? 2 Corin 8:5 'And they did do as we expected, but they gave themselves first to the Lord and then to us in keeping with God's will. So before you give, first submit to the Lord and earnestly seek his will.

How should we give? 1Corin 16:2. On the first day of every week, each one of you should set aside a sum of money in keeping with his income, saving it up..... Your giving is personal, out of a periodic deposit or savings and premeditated. Do not borrow to give to God!!

2Corin9:7 Each man should give what he has decided in his heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion for God loves a cheerful giver.

To whom do we give? 1Tim5:8 If anyone does not provide for his relatives and especially for his immediate family, he is worse than an unbeliever. Meeting the needs of your family is the first priority.

The local church, Christ ministries. Gal 6:6 Anyone who receives instruction in the word must share all good things with his instructor.

The poor.Matt 25:34-45 ( when I was hungry, when I was homeless, when I was naked.. you gave me... now enter into my fathers kingdom but to the others he said depart from me..) So do you give to some one who already has a home, is not naked and is not hungry and forsake those that are hungry, naked and homeless? What will be the fathers reaction?

CORONATION OF THE LORD'S ANOINTED: THE SECRET OF SUCCESS IN CHRIST KINGDOM IS THE ABILITY TO PRAY

Psalm 2
1 Why do the nations conspire and the peoples plot in vain?

2 The kings of the earth take their stand and the rulers gather together against the LORD and against his Anointed One.

3 "Let us break their chains," they say, "and throw off their fetters."

4 The One enthroned in heaven laughs; the Lord scoffs at them.

5 Then he rebukes them in his anger and terrifies them in his wrath, saying,

6 "I have installed my King on Zion, my holy hill."

7 I will proclaim the decree of the LORD: He said to me, "You are my Son; today I have become your Father.

8 Ask of me, and I will make the nations your inheritance, the ends of the earth your possession.

9 You will rule them with an iron scepter; you will dash them to pieces like pottery."

10 Therefore, you kings, be wise; be warned, you rulers of the earth.

11 Serve the LORD with fear and rejoice with trembling.

12 Kiss the Son, lest he be angry and you be destroyed in your way, for his wrath can flare up in a moment. Blessed are all who take refuge in him.

This world is the kingdom of satan, unconverted men, of every rank, party, and character, are stirred up by satan to oppose the cause of God.

Take heed, lest ye perish in the way of your sins, and from the way of your vain hopes; lest your way perish, lest you prove to have missed the way of happiness.

Christ is the way; take heed lest ye be cut off from Him as your way to God.

Those who neglect Christ, will perish.

Blessed will be those who in the day of wrath, by trusting in Christ, have made him their Refuge.

The kingdom of the Messiah is founded upon an eternal decree of God the Father.
Christians are the possession of the Lord Jesus; they are to him for a name and a praise.

Whatever we rejoice, in this world, it must always be with trembling, because of the uncertainty of all things in it. To welcome Jesus Christ, and to submit to him, is our wisdom and interest.

Let Christ be very dear and precious to all Christians and we should love Him above all and love Him in sincerity.

Luke 7:38. And with a kiss of loyalty take this yoke upon us, and give up ourselves to be governed by his laws, disposed of by his providence, and entirely devoted to his cause.

Let our very actions express the separation from the world and our attitudes and words show that we no longer belong to this world, but to the kingdom of the Lord.

Our intentions and hope be for the kingdom of our Lord Jesus Christ and not to cherish or have any secret desire for the things of the world. Doing all things for t God to be glorified in the Son without surreptitiously looking for the praise of men.

To be able to endure long suffering in great deal inwardly with joy even when we incur loss intensely. So the world may see our faith and righteousness in Christ,the difference between our feeling, emotions and attitude towards the world to that of the people of the world themselves.

Our heart has to completely overcome the world, the people, things and events of the world for us to be able to arrive at our goal of becoming a crown of glory in the hands of the Lord ( Isaiah 62 : 2-2).

The spiritual atmosphere of the world today is polluted with covetousness and deception which is a counterfeit to the truth confirming the presence of the anti-christ spirits (1John 4:3).

Many faithful servants now often suffer physical weakness, illness, paralysed mind set, lousy thoughts, inactive spirit due to constant suppression, repression, opposition in our natural activities, poor memory, forgetfulness, lateness and our concentration are not as alert as before. Eventually they become powerless.This is the tactics of the devil to render the church powerless.

Most revival meetings and watch tower intercessory prayer meetings now are giving way and all the church seems to focus on now is music and instruments. Worship can only be possible in the beauty purity and holiness of the spirit of God. Without which it is mainly entertainment and emotional arousals in the flesh.

The utmost importance is for believers to recognize the devices and weapons of their enemy so as to know how to resist, fight and overcome him. Though we might have crucified the flesh and overcome the world, we cannot achieve victory if we fail to overcome the works of the enemy. The fall of Jericho of old could not be attributed to human strength but to (1) the word of God and (2) the position the children of Israel took. Only then can true worship be accomplished.

To overcome the attack of the evil spirits, we must learn to resist its power in our body as well as in our circumstances. We must prove the power of resurrection in all things. We must testify more and more to the fact that our Lord has been raised from the dead and that we who are joined to Him and have also been raised.

For we are the chosen generation and a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people that we should show forth the praises of Him that has called us out of darkness into His marvellous light. 1 Peter 2:9
For we must hold fast to our crown to the Lords coming (Rev 3:11-12) for our reward will be great in New Jerusalem during the 1000 years reign of the Lord.

LETS US PRAY

FATHER WE COME BEFORE YOUR THRONE TODAY IN THE NAME OF OUR LORD JESUS CHRIST IN ADORATION AND HONOUR TO YOU FOR YOU ARE THE CREATOR OF ALL THINGS. WE GIVE YOU ALL THE PRAISE AND HONOUR DUE UNTO YOU FOR YOU ARE WORTHY.
WE CONFESS ALL OUR SHORT COMINGS, WHAT WE HAVE DONE AND WHAT WE HAVE FAILED TO DO AND WE ASK FOR CLEANSING BY THE INCORRUPTIBLE AND PRECIOUS BLOOD OF YOU SON JESUS CHRIST. WE SUBMIT OURSELVES COMPLETELY TO THE UNCTION OF YOUR HOLY SPIRIT AND GIVE THE UTTERANCE FOR HIM TO BRING EVERYTHING IN OUR LIVES THAT HAS NOT GLORIFIED YOU INTO SUBJECTION AND TOTAL OBEDIENCE TO YOUR WORD. CONVICT US, STRENGTHEN US AND LEAD US BACK UNTO YOUR PRECEPT AND STATUES. NEVER LET OUR HEART GROW COLD FOR YOU AND ALL THAT CONCERNS YOUR KINGDOM. MAKE US BALANCED CHRISTIAN IN ALL ASPECTS. IN ALL KINDS OF PRAYER, PRAISES, WORSHIP, THANKS, WAITING ON GOD, FELLOWSHIP AND COUNSELLING OF OUR SPIRITS TO ENSURE HEALING IN OUR INNER MAN. REVIVE US AND REACTIVATE US THAT WE MAY ALWAYS BE IN OUR POSITION WITH OUR ARMOUR LIFTED UP AND OUR EYES LOOKING UNTO YOU. FATHER WE PRAY THAT WE MAY NEVER LOOSE OUR CROWN OR EXCHANGE OUR GIFT TO THE WORLD LIKE ESAU DUE TO SUPPRESSION AND REPRESSION. HELP US OH LORD TO KEEP OUR FAITH , TO RUN THE RACE TO THE END WITHOUT FAINTING UNTIL YOU RETURN. HOLY SPIRIT BIND US TOGETHER WITH CORDS THAT CANNOT BE BROKEN AND CHASTISE US WHEN WE SWAY OUT FROM THE TRUTH. ALL THIS WE PRAY IN JESUS NAME AMEN.

ATTITUDE DETERMINES APTITUDE

Lets talk about kicking off the bad habit, for our enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour and will come to you through those addicted ungodly habits. How can we resist him by standing firm in the faith? (1Peter 5:8-9)

What can we be addicted to? It is an endless list but just look at these: Anger,Approval, Being always right or good, caffeine, chocolate, control, computer, diets, our physical looks, drugs, fantasy, fitness, films, hobbies, lying, masturbation, money, perfection, power, relationships, romance, rules and regulations, religion, status, security, success, sex, stress, television, shopping, telephone and many more

These are all false comforts. Jonah 2:8 says those who cling to worthless things for satisfaction of these demands, (idols) forfeit the grace that could be theirs. Gal 5:1 says we got to stand firm and not to let our burdens to become a yoke of slavery

Addictions appears to bring comfort from emotional pain and respite from the fear of insecurity and inadequacy. We believe they anaesthetise our pain inside but in our subconsciousness they are real as ever. Only the Holy Spirit can bring purity holiness and heal us and make us whole again.

Addiction says: I want more of it, I feel anxious without it, I am only doing this to protect or stop me from doing something worse, I am just doing it now because I am lonely, I can stop when ever I want to. But however, we don't cease from thinking about it most of the time.

Rn 12: 22 -25; Although they claimed to be wise, they became fools and exchanged the glory of the immortal God for the images made to look like mortal man and birds ..... They exchanged the truth of God for a lie and worshipped and served created things than the Creator - who is for ever praised

Addiction like most afflictions as a cycle. It start from love, desire, hunger to poor self-image and low-esteem, then to the addictive agent, the consequences followed by guilt, shame, self-hatred or excuses and self-righteousness

It grows like a snowball and one makes us vulnerable to others. You may be the perfect respectable person in your church but if you are operating out of a subtle and hidden stronghold then you can still be open to greater temptations and more bondage. Denial creeps in and the Spirit of truth is surpressed. 1 Tim 4:12


If you have agreed with these truth of the gospel then say this prayer with me if not for yourself or someone you know then say it for someone you do not know.

FATHER GOD, THANK YOU THAT YOU CAME TO SET ME FREE FROM BONDAGE TO ANY FORM OF ADDICTION. I ASK YOU TO REVEAL TO ME THROUGH YOUR SPIRIT AND THE DISCERNMENT OF MY FRIENDS IF THERE IS ANY HIDDEN ADDICTION AT WORK IN MY LIFE. PLEASE BREAK THROUGH ANY DENIAL THAT I MIGHT BE IN, AND HELP ME TO FACE THE PAIN AND CHAOS WITHIN MY OWN HEART. I CHOOSE LIFE IN ALL ITS FULLNESS AND I CHOOSE TO PUT TO DEATH ALL ADDICTIVE BEHAVIOUR OF WHICH I AM ALREADY AWARE OR OF WHICH I MAY BECOME AWARE IN THE FUTURE. I PRAY AND ASK ALL THESE FROM MY HEAVENLY ABBA FATHER IN THE NAME OF JESUS CHRIST OF NAZARETH. AMEN THANK YOU LORD FOR HEARING AND ANSWERING TO MY PRAYERS AMEN
